New slides: Mobile Operating Systems

A new set of slides from a recent lecture gives an overview of the currently available smartphone operating systems. This includes the already mentioned platforms, plus the Symbian Foundation, Windows Mobile, Blackberry and Palm OS / Web OS. You will also gain an insight about development for those platforms, as well as services like the popular application stores.

Updated all Java ME tutorials

All slides and materials have been updated. Especially the introduction has been greatly expanded and now gives an up-to-date overview about the latest developments like the Mobile Service Architecture (MSA) and MIDP 3.0. Additionally, new user interface APIs and concepts are introduced (eSWT, LWUIT, JavaFX Mobile). The part about the Game API now covers more details and contains helpful new examples.
